California Mission Trail — Privacy Policy

Effective July 10, 2026

California Mission Trail is a simple offline guide to the 21 historic California missions. Your privacy is simple too: we do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

What the app stores

Your favorites, mission check-ins, and any photos you add are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere and are removed if you delete the app.

Location

If you grant location permission, your location is used only on your device to show nearby missions, distances, and to enable check-ins. Your location is never transmitted, logged, or shared.

Photos

If you add photos to a mission, the app accesses only the photos you explicitly select. Photos stay on your device.

No accounts, no tracking, no ads

The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
